Historical Enterprises was founded during the Summer of 2000 by Jason W. Gatliff. Jason has been an avid Re-enactor since the Fall of 1995. He started learning how to design websites the following year and now has over 3 years of Industry Experience. Jason used to work at ISPA in Gordon, Georgia as part of their Web Design Team before leaving to form Historical Enterprises.

       Historical Enterprises was formed due to the immense popularity of HistoricalTrekking.com. This was a website founded by Jason in November of 1999. Jason wanted an interactive information site for other Re-enactors whose interest was in Period Trekking. Soon after Jason founded Historical Enterprises to sponsor the site and aid in developing web sites for other clients. Historical Enterprises added to it's projects list in the Fall of 2000 when it purchased On The Trail magazine from Rick L. Edwards, the founder of OTT and the CoHT.

       Historical Enterprises continues to grow and hopes to further the hobby through our efforts.
